The MI welcomes group and sets context for why manufacturing is important, including an overview on the current state of the industry and how focusing on increasing the number of women entering and staying in manufacturing will play a crucial role in closing the industry skills gap.
6:00 – 7:00 pm Panel: Recruiting Our Future Workforce
Panel participants will engage in a discussion that explores how to attract women manufacturers from all ages. The panel will focus on questions that explain how each panelist was drawn to the industry from a different path in order to help the audience understand what it takes to position our industry and recruit our future workforce.

Women represent the largest untapped talent pool for manufacturers. With a potential 2.1 million jobs going unfilled by 2030, the industry cannot afford to stand idly by.
